Terms of Service


Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service aim to define the conditions and procedures for the use of the mobile application service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by AICU Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and the users.


Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" refers to the functions available through the mobile application provided by the Company.
  • "User" refers to an individual who uses the Service provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms)

  • These Terms shall take effect for all users who intend to use the Service.
  • The Company may revise these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
  • If the Company revises these Terms, it will specify the effective date and reasons for the revision, and notify users by displaying the revised Terms alongside the current Terms on the initial screen of the Service, starting at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date.

Article 4 (Service Details)

The details of the Service provided by the Company are as follows:

  • Stool analysis service using a smart app.
    The Company may modify the Service it provides based on operational or technical needs.

Article 5 (Use of Service)

  • The Service shall, in principle, be available 24 hours a day, year-round, unless there are specific operational or technical impediments.
  • The Company may divide the Service into specific segments and designate separate available hours for each segment. In such cases, the Company will provide prior notice of these details.

Article 6 (User Obligations)

  • Users must comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines, notices related to the Service, and any other matters notified by the Company, and must not engage in activities that interfere with the Company’s operations.
  • Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information they input to use the Service.

Article 7 (Personal Information Protection)

  • The Company strives to protect users’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws.
  • The protection and use of personal information are governed by relevant laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy. However, the Company’s Privacy Policy does not apply to linked sites other than the Company’s official website.

Article 8 (Company Obligations)

  • The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or acts contrary to public order and morals, and shall make every effort to provide the Service consistently and reliably as stipulated in these Terms.
  • The Company must maintain a security system to protect users’ personal information (including credit information) so that users can use the Service safely.

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

  • The Company is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information obtained through the use of this Service.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any inability to provide the Service due to natural disasters, hacking, or other force majeure events.

Article 10 (Ownership of Copyright and Restrictions on Use)

  • Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company.
  • Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use for commercial purposes, or allow third parties to use, any information obtained through the Service that is subject to the Company’s intellectual property rights without the Company’s prior consent.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

  • The Company shall establish and operate a damage compensation mechanism to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to address any resulting damages.
  • The Company prioritizes the handling of complaints and opinions submitted by users. However, if prompt resolution is not feasible, the Company will immediately notify the user of the reasons and the expected processing schedule.

Article 12 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

  • Any lawsuits arising between the Company and a user shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Disputes between the Company and a user shall be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

Addendum

These Terms shall take effect as of September 15, 2024.
